H.M.S. Pinafore Sets Sail for Algonquin Arts Theatre

Produced by New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, H.M.S. Pinafore will take the audience on a journey filled with music and laughter as romantic sailors, sisters, cousins, and aunts sing and dance their way across the deck of the fanciful British naval vessel with the improbable name. This production will appear at Algonquin Arts Theatre for one performance only on Sunday, July 18th at 3 pm.

H.M.S. Pinafore or The Lass That Loved A Sailor was first performed at the Opera Comique, London, on May 25, 1878, and has remained popular on both sides of the Atlantic ever since. This witty, musical comedy featuring Algonquin�s own William Whitefield as the Boatswain and artistic director Albert Bergeret, is appropriate for all ages.

Tickets are $50 for Golden Circle Seating (Rows A-H), $45 for adults and seniors, and $30 for students and children. Group rates are also available. Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Algonquin Arts is located at 173 Main Street in downtown Manasquan, NJ.
