Algonquin Arts has this year re-launched its Morning Music concert series.
Concerts will be held monthly on Wednesdays or Fridays.
The theatre recently announced lower ticket prices, more convenient performance times, professional credit opportunities for educators, post-performance question-and-answer sessions and study guides,
according to a press release.
On Wednesday, Dec. 16, baritone James Alexander will perform The Most Wonderful Time of the Year at 10 a.m. Flutist Claire Chase will be at the theatre on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at 10 a.m. The Hot
Club of San Francisco will perform Valentine Jazz-Up on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at 10 a.m. Percussionist Svet Stoyanov will appear on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 10 a.m. Phyllis Chen, toy pianist, will
be showcased on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 10 a.m. And, Mr. Alexander again will perform, this time Lyrics to Love - Songs from the American Stage, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at 10 a.m.
Tickets to the concerts are $7 per person, which is $1.50 less than last year’s ticket prices, the theatre said. Also, three performances will be free: the two Rising Stars shows and flutist Claire Chase,
according to the theatre.

The box office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
